Refine your skills and become an Advanced Open Water Diver
The next step to take after the PADI Open Water Diver is the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course, taking you down to 30 meters. This course is one of the most fun courses PADI offers and there is no extended classroom or pool session required to complete the course. This course is all about diving and gaining more experience. During the Advanced Open Water course you will do five so called Adventure Dives, including a deep dive to 30 meters. During your deep dive you will learn about
how depth impacts your body, vision and perception. You will also learn how to minimize risks related to deep diving and which precautions to take. The second mandatory Adventure Dive of the Advanced Open Water course is the navigation dive, where you will improve your compass skills and learn how to measure distances with fin kick cycles. Beside those two Adventure Dives you can choose from an extensive list of further Adventure Dives, including fish identification, underwater photography, underwater naturalist, drift diving, peak performance buoyancy and wreck diving.
As many dive sites, including some amazing wrecks are lying between 20 and 30 meters, the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course gives you access to a new world of scuba dive sites.
